It was one of those evenings; I was sucked into the void that is YouTube, clicking the recommended links in the sidebar until the videos had nothing to do with the original content I was watching. If you are an avid YouTuber you know what I'm talking about. I happened upon a tutorial for acrylic fluid painting. I watched, fascinated, and thought, "Wow, that looks messy."
The following day, I fished out a plastic drop-sheet, a pair of gloves, and my favourite painting pants, and created my first fluid painting. That's it, I was hooked. After about 4 paintings I decided to make one a day, for at least 30 days. The process is completely opposite from the way I am used to creating art: unpredictable, quick, chaotic, messy, but wonderful.
I hope you enjoy looking at these pieces as much as I enjoyed making them!
